Welcome at Cochabamba -"the town of the eternal spring". . The valleys in this central region are considered to have the best climate, not just of Bolivia, but of the whole world. You can fly here over an amazing range of altitudes with the town of Cochabamba at your feet: a true marvel!
A week of fantastic flying from various take-off points in the Tunari cordillera between 2200m and 4400m will acclimatize you
to the altitude, La Paz being at over 4000m.
Cochabamba offers plenty of after-flight or day-off activities. You can discover the flora and fauna of the Tunari park, the indiginous village commmunities, the hot mineral springs, the Portales palace or the natural history museum.
The second week is essentially in the La Paz/Titicaca region:
It includes the "Mula del diablo" flight, landing next to the hotel.
the "Antena" flight with a transfer to Mt. Roupapina allowing sustained soaring before landing, sometimes with
a "Hello" from the condors;
and Copacabana with flights beside lake Titicaca, landing on the shore.
Copacabana itself is a mythical site, offering many possible visits, as is La Paz with its rich collection of museums.

During the week at Cochabamba we normally stay at the Hotel Planeta de Luz.
The week at La Paz and Copacabana is spent at the hotels Naira and Cupula respectively. These hotels are all highly-rated.
